Mamaaaaa There go them shoulders again! The all White Party!

There are three responses to a piece of design… Yes, No, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.
~Milton Glaser~

Hey sewing fam bam it’s Tuesday and time for some hot fun in the summer time!  Yes it’s blazing in the southland today and I thought what better time to get this all white summer party post going.  While this past weekend’s weather wasn’t really what I had in mind for pictures it eventually cleared up allowing me to grab my camera, my sister and make some things happen.

That California Sun! Hits and Misses!

Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having FUN!

~Mary Lou Cook~

Hello my dear sewing family and happy Wednesday!  Yes it’s hump day as they say and we’re well on our way to the other side of the week, otherwise known as the weekend! LOL   I must confess that I had mixed emotions about today’s post and what I’m about to share, not because it’s horrible but simply because it’s different.  Again it’s not sharing with you that had me discombobulated, instead it’s the content that has me feeling some kind of way!  Well let me explain just what I mean and why I wasn’t too thrilled.

Summer, Summer, Summer Time! Here it is a groove slightly transformed...........

“Great design is eliminating all unnecessary details”

~Minh D. Tran~

Good Monday morning loves I’m back rested and optimistic about what this week will bring.  The weekend was busy but great at the same time and I have to say I love it when things come together just as I plan.  As luck would have it I was able to get some sewing done, between business projects, errands and basketball practice with my son.  Anytime I can get my sewing projects done and complete my other tasks it’s an overall great time!

"Fabric Speaks Louder than words"

“Life is all about timing! The unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable…attainable.  Have the patience, wait it out it’s all about timing.”

~Stacy Charter~

Hello sewing loves and happy hump day! Yes we are halfway through the week and I’m trying to figure out where the time went!  Of course you know my life like many of yours is busy, busy, busy! I have so much going on at work and with the blog/Nina Ramel brand that my head is spinning. LOL  The one thing I have to say that I’ve missed these last couple of weeks is actually getting my sewing projects done.

My shoulders were popular before the trend started!

Summer is a time to escape for memorable getaways, savor the warm afternoon sun on your skin, enjoy time at home grilling outdoors with loved ones, an to embrace the miracle of nature.

Happy Friday sewing loves so happy to be back sharing with you today!  I’m sure by the cover photo you can guess what this post is all about! LOLL Yes summer is upon us and my shoulders are all the way out!  Of course it just so happens that off the shoulder tops are trending this summer but what folks don’t know is that the sewing community myself included have been up on this particular style for quite some time.

~Pastor A.R. Bernard~

Hello my dear sewing family, I hope all is well with you this fine day!  I’m so excited about everything God is doing in my life and am filled with so much joy that it is running over in everything that I do right now.  I want to thank all of you for your continued love and support because whether you know it or not it is because of you that I felt encouraged when things seemed out of reach.  Your comments fill my heart with joy and make me smile continuously!

“Success in life comes when you simply refuse to give up, with goals so strong that obstacles, failure, and loss only act as motivation!”

Hello sewing love happy Thursday to you all! While I know many of you in the blogosphere may affectionately refer to today as throwback Thursday we have decided for us it will be more of a Pay it Forward day! LOLL I have a ton of things going on as you probably already know just based on my track record but I wanted to make sure that I posted this week’s Coaching series video and Think about it sheets!

Big Announcement! Nina Ramel Pattern Collection will be popping up SOON!

“Having the positive belief that it will all be okay just means that you hustle and make it work because failure is not an option in your own mind.”

~Natalie Massenet~

Hello sewing loves it’s the start of a new week and what better way to get the week going than with some great news!  As you all know I’ve been working on several projects over the past year including my own line of clothing and printable patterns.  Well let me just say this whole process has been a beast to say the least!  Having to work full time, taking care of a family, including preparing my daughter for college and trying to put in my hustle hours for My Daily Threadz has been more than a notion.  I don’t know about you but I happen to be passionate about my career as a counselor and my business as a blogger/fashion designer, so it is important for me to have balance in both areas.  As a result I’ve tried to make things perfect in my career and the launch of My Daily Threadz, LLC ventures ultimately realizing that things never truly are PERFECT!
