"Slow Down, Calm Down, Don't Worry, Dont Hurry, Trust the Process!
Hello Sewing Loves happy Thursday! As the weekend draws near I'm still in grind mode trying to finish several projects currently brewing in the M.D.T, pot. One such project being another Nina Ramel Pattern due for release within the next several days. I have so many irons in the fire and with all my help having moved out of state I started feeling a little overwhelmed. So much so that I had to take a step back and remind myself of all the other responsibilities outside of My Daily Threadz & The Nina Ramel Brand that I have to tend to. With that being said I've taken several deep breaths, given myself quite a few pep talks and realized as much as I would like to do it all by myself sometimes I just can't!
Now don't get me wrong when I say I can't that doesn't mean that I'm giving up or I won't somehow make it happen! LOL It simply means that while I will bring every dream and every fabulous idea to fruition it will be at my own pace and in my own time. So now that I've taken a deep breath gotten some perspective I'm ready to share a little something with you all today. As many of you already know the Nina Ramel Brand has already released its first pattern with our partners at Bootstrap Fashion. Of course it took us a minute to get it down and make sure we had the best possible product for you but in the end we were pleased with the results. The thing is many people don't know how much time the process of creating digital patterns that will work with various measurements truly is! Taking an idea from a sketch, to a flat pattern and then converting that into a digital format is a grueling process that requires quite a bit of time not to mention attention to detail. There are adjustments, corrections, more adjustments, sewing, fitting and more sewing! Trust me it's more than a notion but if you can stick it out it's definitely worth it in the end.
Anhoo after it was all said and done we made it through the first pattern and are making adjustments to the second one now. For those of you who decide to purchase the pattern I have attached step by step directions with pictures to help you through the process making it a truly stress free sewing experience. So if you haven't yet, take a moment to head over to Bootstrapfashion.com and check out not only the Nina Ramel pattern but all the other wonderful patterns they have to offer the sewing community. I promise you won't regret it! Well loves that of course is it for me today. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I look forward to bringing you more fabulousness soon!
Once you purchase and sew our pattern please share your pictures with all of us! We would love to see all of your fabulous jumpsuits! In the meantime here are a few shots of the process when creating your own line digital patterns.
