"It's not about a brand its about style"
Woohoooo the second post of the new year is here! I'm so excited about what the future holds and I can't wait to get this year going. I have so many ideas dancing around in my head that I find myself carrying my sketch pad (iPad & pen) with me every where I go. I want to operate more in the moment and create whatever I'm feeling at that point in time. So having my pad with me to document inspiration when it hits is AWESOME!
One of the ideas I had last month is the look I'm sharing with you today. Many of you who follow me on social media may recall me sharing my knit pants and top project on Facebook last month. Well I'm happy to say it's all done and this one turned out better than I could have imagined. Creating these pants using this knit fabric turned out to be more than a notion. Basting every single line of the front and back pants pieces felt as if it would go on FOREVER! But you know what they say anything worth having is worth working for. So I hunkered down took my time did a ton of hand basting and worked my way through it! The end result as you'll see below is this fabulous knit project that I'm really proud of. If you're interested in my basting process you can view the live video I saved on my Facebook page. Well loves until next time enjoy the pics, leave your comments and feel free to email me with any questions you may have!
The top is my very own Nina Ramel Collection Turtleneck pattern. Instead of the set in straight sleeve I altered the pattern to this bishop sleeve gathering at the wrist with elastic. Knit scarf I picked up at Forever 21 during the holidays for $5. and I have to say I love it!
