Flashback Friday! Zebra Print flared skirt!

You have no control over other people’s taste, so focus on staying true to your OWN! Carry On!

~Tim Gunn~

Hello lovelies it’s Flash Back Friday here at My Daily Threadz! I’m so relaxed right now because today is the actual commencement ceremony for Masters& Doctorial students and I feel a big weight being lifted off my shoulders.  So of course my creative juices are flowing as I anticipate being able to sew freely without having to stop and right a paper or read a book.  It’s so exciting to have accomplished my goal and I look forward to great things happening in the near future no matter what they may be.

As I prepare for my little mini vacay I thought I would share one of my favorite things with you the flare maxi skirt.  I love the versatility of these skirts but most of all I love the way it hugs my curves and makes me feel chic and feminine. I’ve done several of these skirts but this particular print makes this one my all-time favorite out of the bunch.  This skirt is so simple to draft and even simpler to sew so beginners this would be the perfect project for you.  I hope you all have a wonderfully creative weekend and that you make the most of every opportunity and door that God opens for you!  Next week I will be featuring my daughter and her projects on the page so stay tuned to see how I’m training this beginner to do her own thing!

Hugs

I drafted the skirt myself so Check out my "Video & DIY"  page for instructions on how to achieve this skirt!
