I can't get enough of Jumpsuits these days!

Be Fabulous, Be Brave, Be Bold but most of all BE YOURSELF!

~Me~

So In love with Jumpsuits! Have you ever made something that felt and looked so good that you wanted one in every color?  Well that’s what happened over the weekend when I completed this tan Dolman sleeve wide leg jumpsuit. Comfort is a must for me and this jumpsuit definitely meets my expectations with regard to how a garment should fit, feel and look when you’re done.

Does this always happen when I sew my own garments? No it doesn't! There have been plenty of projects that didn't quite transfer from the idea in my head to the actual production of the garment.  I simply fix it when I can and alter my methods when I can’t.  The key is to keep at it because success is on the horizon!  The thing I love about this particular jumpsuit is it can be styled in several different ways to accommodate your schedule of activities and/or mood for the day.  With the simple switch of your shoes, handbag and a couple of accessories you can transition from a casual day look to a more chic evening look with very little fuss.

For today’s blog post I decided to display pictures of the jumper styled with a par of flat sandals and a fitted heel to give you an idea of the versatility of this garment. While I didn't change the handbag or accessories for these pics I’m sure you get the idea.  I hope you enjoy the photos and please feel free to post any questions you may have in the comments section below.  Have a great day and remember to GO GET IT!

Hugs

Dolman sleeve top self drafted from basic sleeve & bodice block and pants using Butterick 4807! There are several Dolman sleeve commercial patterns out there (Burda 7678 is one) that will work I simply wanted  to try this particular drafting method I reviewed to see how it would turn out.

Switched to high heel!

The only thing I would change would be to make it a little longer for heels!
